The short version: ITM downloads your files directly to your own device. The download engine runs locally on your machine — we never see, receive or store the files you download. We only collect the minimum account and billing information needed to run the Service.
Internet Transfer Manager ("ITM", "we", "us", "our") provides a desktop download-manager application and related services. This policy explains what information we collect when you use ITM and how we handle it.
We collect only what we need to provide the Service:
We use the information we collect to:
Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires it, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service), our legitimate interests (to secure and improve ITM), your consent (where requested), and compliance with legal obligations.
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run ITM, under appropriate confidentiality obligations, including:
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your data.
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes (for example, billing records). When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You may also close your account at any time.
ITM is not directed to children under the age required for consent in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of ITM after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
